The taste of Malay hospitality
For high-end luxury tourists looking ahead to have a taste of Malay hospitality in Kuala Lumpur, there’s nothing like The Royal Chulan Kuala Lumpur that stands out with a difference. Resting on Jalan Conlay at Chulan Square in the hub of Kuala Lumpur, the five-star luxury haunt is an hour drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and provides an authentic world of Malay hospitality.

The Kuala Lumpur-based five-star haunt is owned by the Royal Bintang Group of Hotels and Resorts and has been the creation of Boustead Holdings and Berhad that date back to the colonial era of Malaysia. So what makes one of the leading five-star haunts in the Malaysian capital stand apart from others is its friendly ambience and is more of a homegrown Malaysian hospitality brand. It has made a sincere endevaour to open the premier Malay fine-dining restaurant in the city called Bunga Emas.
A luxury suite at The Royal Chulan
I had the opportunity to stay at The Royal Chulan during my visits to Kuala Lumpur and have fond memories of the hotel that has Warison Café- the fine-dining restaurant serving Malaysian delights and South Indian delicacies along with Continental cuisine.
What’s more, The Royal Chulan offers some unforgettable glimpses of the glittering Petronas Twin Towers at night. Nest to the luxury haunt is the Chulan Tower. The luxury group is a stone’s throw away from Bukit Bintang, the largest mall in Malaysia.
